Swiss P2P & crowdlending field guide — educational research, not financial advice

Privacy Policy

This page explains what data P2P Lending Switzerland collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, but it is meant to reflect our actual practice.

Analytics

We use Independent Analytics, a WordPress-native analytics plugin. It does not use cookies and does not send visitor data to external analytics services. Analytics data stays on our own hosting infrastructure rather than being shared with a third-party ad or tracking network.

Data we do not sell

We do not sell personal data to anyone, in any form.

Contact form

If you contact us by email using the instructions on the contact page, the information you send (such as your name, email address, and message) is used only to read and reply to your message. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list, and we do not pass this information to third parties. Our contact address is info [at] p2plending.ch.

Risk screener inputs

The risk screener runs entirely in your browser. Any figures you enter, such as an assumed default rate or loan amount, are processed locally on your device to produce an illustrative result. They are never transmitted to our servers and never stored by us. If you close or reload the page, that input is gone.

Hosting and server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and operational purposes, for example to detect abuse or diagnose faults. These logs are a normal part of running a website and are not used by us to build individual visitor profiles.

Your rights under Swiss data protection law

Switzerland’s Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) gives you general rights over personal data held about you, including the right to ask what data we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it, to ask us to correct inaccurate data, and to ask us to delete data we no longer need to hold. Because we collect very little personal data in the first place, mainly what you choose to send us by email or contact form, these requests are usually straightforward to resolve.

Contact for privacy questions

For any question about this policy or a request relating to your data, write to info [at] p2plending.ch or use our contact page for address instructions.

Sources & status

General rights described here reflect the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, fedlex.admin.ch) and are not a substitute for the full text of the law. Last checked: 14 July 2026.
